What to do?

My former roommate of 5 or so years was diagnosed with breast cancer and started off her new year with chemo. Our church rallied around her and her husband and kept their fridge full of food. Although I love to cook, they had more than enough food so what to do? Prayer and crocheting; I could do that! So out came the hook and this hat was made along with three flower pins for decoration.
  • Patterns: Roll Brim Hat from lionbrand.com; hibiscus, gilly flower and ? (can't remember) Vogue Stitchionary 4
  • Yarns: Lion Cotton natural, Vanna's Choice dusty blue, Lion Wool lemongrass, Reynolds santana
  • Hook: ?
  • Lessons learned: triple crochet, picot

P.S. My friend has finished chemo and we all thank God she is cancer free!
