The Impossible Dream

Making a sweater always seemed to be the ultimate project and something I'd never accomplish. As the cliche goes, never say never. I found a fairly simple baby sweater pattern and decided to dive in. Much to my surprise, the neck shaped easily and a sweater was emerging! Wow, this is working! I deviated slightly from the pattern by adding lavender edging and a little lavender flower on one of the sleeves. Not perfect, but definitely wearable.

Patterns: Absolutely Precious. 24 Hour Crochet Projects.; French Florettes. Crocheted Flowers.
Yarn: Lion Baby Soft white pompadour, Caron Simply Soft orchid
Hook: 3.25mm
Lessons Learned: shaping neck, sleeves, still having trouble with turning/straight edges and gauge
