I'm in the process of spring-cleaning the blog. Here's the list of what I read in 2009 so I can clear the side panel for 2010:
- Breaking Free/Moore
- Ghost Soldiers/Sides
- James
- Job
- Joni/Earikson
- Philemon
- Proverbs
- Psalms
- Quiet Strength/Dungy
- The Busy, Busy World of Richard Scarry/Retan, Risom
- The Clockwork Girl/Hanna, O'Reilly
- The Duggars: 20 And Counting/Duggar
- The Economist
- The Neiman Marcus Cookbook/Garvin
- The Secret Life of Bees/Kidd
- The Tapestry/Schaeffer
The Ghost Soldiers was probably the most riveting read for the past year. It is about the US forces breaking its imprisoned soldiers out from a Japanese prison camp in the Philippines during WWII. This subject was of special interest to me because my husband's grandfather was captured by the Japanese and died in a prison camp in the Philippines. The book gave a little
glimpse into what he might of faced.
