Yes, that's the sound of a frog croaking. It's also the sound of me ripping out row after row of crochet. The term for ripping out stitches is called frogging. Although this is an easy pattern, for some reason I kept dropping stitches. This project reminded me of cross stitch because I was always counting to keep from ripping more rows (which still didn't always work).
What should have taken about 6 weeks turned into 4 months. Thankfully, the puff stitch is one of my favorites and I love seeing the alphabet emerge from the yarn. Welcome to the world Baby V!
Yarn:
Hook: f/5
Pattern: Caron's ABC baby blanket
Lessons learned: Always count your stitches and then recount a couple times more!
