Baby Blanket

Here's a baby blanket in celebration of our friend's baby boy. I chose a super bulky yarn since there was only 2 weeks to complete this project. It was fantastic how quickly it came together. Although it's really thick, it should be a good blanket to lay on the ground for playtime. Congratulations S&L!

  • Pattern: Lion Brand baby ripple afgan (on their web site)
  • Yarn: Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick: fisherman, sky blue & grass
  • Hook: 10.00 mm
  • Lessons learned: chevron pattern, sort-of keeping straight edges, working with super bulky yarn

Wow, Maria! These area all great! :-) I can't wait to see more. I have a sweater for Baby Gabel languishing as well... this might be the push I need to finish it before he arrives (I'm hoping to bring home from the hospital in it!).
