Right now I'm trying to get caught up with posting this year's work. This morning I realized I forgot to post the Easter duck. It should be between the Impossible Dream and Valentine (I'm probably the only one who cares about the chronology.)The Easter duck is the Little Tomato's first stuffed animal from mommy. It turned out to be momentous because the night before Easter she wouldn't go to sleep and kept waking up screaming. I was very frustrated. In the middle of the night she woke up screaming again so I went out to the living room to work on the duck while my husband comforted her. As I was crocheting it dawned on me: maybe she's teething? After sticking my finger in her mouth, yup, there was a sharp edge coming through her lower gum. Poor thing. At least we could take care of the teething.
